Mary Sue (Wanda) Smith, 75 of Raleigh, MS passed away Friday, February 9, 2024 at the Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. She was born Friday, December 3, 1948 in Magee, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. Burial will follow in White Oak Cemetery in Raleigh, MS. Bro. Wade Mathis will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister to her family. She will greatly be missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin R. and Lillie B. Cook; brother, Louis B.  Cook; sisters, Betty Jean Cooksey and Daisy Bishop.

Survivors include her sons, Jamie  Freeman  (Becky) of Mendenhall, MS and Dennis  Smith  (Denise ) of Raleigh, MS;  daughter, Sissy  Sanderford  of Raleigh, MS;  grandchildren, Kevin  Freeman  (Macy), James Freeman (Bethaney), Andrew  Sanderford, Justin  Sanderford  (Abby), Dalton  Freeman  (Katelyn), Megan  Wright  (Jessie), Shelby Westbrook and Ryan  Dominguez (Aurora);  twenty- three great-grandchildren.

Brother, Tommy Cook; sisters, Norma Quick

(Jimmy), Linda  Bowman; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Freeman, Andrew Sanderford, James Freeman, Justin Sanderford, Dalton Freeman, and Brentley Freeman.
