Mary McCoy Harris Hartley, age 90, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, June 15, 2019. She was born on February 16, 1929, in Crowville, LA, a daughter of the late Claude Sylvester and Laura Bell Jones McCoy.
She was a member of Goodwater Baptist Church and taught Sunday school at both Goodwater Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Magee. Mary came from a large family with many siblings so she treasured quality time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, A. J. Harris and husband of 7 years, John Hartley; six brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by her sons, Dewayne Harris (Patricia), Jimmy Harris (Diane); daughter, Cheryl Magee (Paul); sister, Dessie Horn; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The service will follow on Wednesday, June 19, at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. with interment in Goodwater Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dewayne Harris, Jimmy Harris, Adam Harris, A.J. Harris, Ray Dellumo and Lary Horn.
