Mary Lucille Breaux, 77 of Braxton, Mississippi passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Monday, January 23, 2023, at her home in Braxton. She was born Monday, March 19, 1945 in Houma, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3077 Simpson Hwy 13, Mendenhall, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Gum Springs Baptist Cemetery in Braxton, Mississippi. Bro. Timothy Carlisle will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401
Mrs. Mary was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church in Braxton, Mississippi. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She enjoyed working with crafts, fishing, crabbing, working on her farm, and most of all spending time with her children and grandkids. She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Boudreaux; mother, Lucille Boudreaux; and four brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include her loving husband of sixty-one years, Harry Breaux of Braxton, MS; two sons, Basil Breaux (Jeanie) of Raleigh, MS, and Brent Breaux (Marci) of Montegut, LA; one daughter, Audra Breaux Welch of Mendenhall, MS; twelve grandchildren, Waylon Welch (Caroline) of Mendenhall, MS, Wyatt Welch of Mendenhall, MS, Wesley Taylor (Lacey) of Braxton, MS, Jenifer Taylor Sparks (Josh) of Mendenhall, MS, Tiffany Breaux Carlisle (Timothy) of Braxton, MS, Jack Breaux (Melanie) of Taylorsville, MS, Josh Breaux of Raleigh, MS, Garrett Breaux (Callie) of Mendenhall, MS, Gavin Breaux of Raleigh, MS, John Paul Breaux of Raleigh, MS, Blake Deaver of Magee, MS, Catelyn Deaver of Magee, MS; thirteen great-grandchildren, Ryder Welch of Mendenhall, MS, Levi Welch of Mendenhall, MS, Nicole Rankin of Braxton, MS, Haley Rankin of Braxton, MS, Colby Rankin of Braxton, MS, Nathan Carlisle of Braxton, MS, Addison Carlisle of Braxton, MS, Devan Thurman of Mendenhall, MS, Dane Breaux of Taylorsville, MS, Anna Breaux of Taylorsville, MS, Lila Breaux of Taylorsville, MS, Gage Breaux of Taylorsville, MS, Levi Breaux of Mendenhall, MS; four sisters and one brother; and a host of other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Waylon Welch, Wyatt Welch, Wesley Taylor, Jake Breaux, Josh Breaux, and Garrett Breaux.
Honorary pallbearers will be all grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
