Mary Joyce Windham Sullivan
(March 13, 1938 – August 29, 2022)

Mary Joyce Windham Sullivan, 84 of Taylorsville, died Monday, August 29, 2022, at her earthly home in Taylorsville. She was married to the late Robert N. Sullivan in 1956 and they had seven beautiful children, 15 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother (maw maw), cook, homemaker, and hard worker. She loved her family and her many different animals throughout her lifetime.

Preceded in death by husband, Robert Neace Sullivan; son, Robert Neace Sullivan II; grandchildren, Robert Charles & Jamie Lynn; great-grandchild, Macklin Clifton; her parents, Charlie and Willie Mae Windham; brothers, Kent Windham, Tommy Windham, and Billy Windham; and sister, Margaret Rogers.

Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Ann Pearson (Pete) of Pearl, MS, Stephanie Lowery (Randy) of Taylorsville, MS, and Robin Woods (Jimmie) of Carriere, MS; three sons, Robert Mack Sullivan of Mize, MS, Michael Adam Sullivan (Tammy) of Mize, MS, and Willie Carl Sullivan of Taylorsville, MS; grandchildren, Miranda Wickwire (Stephen) of Slidell, LA, Allen Pearson (Heather) of Taylorsville, MS, Brad Lowery (Dena) of Taylorsville, MS, Blake Lowery (Marta) of Taylorsville, MS, Shasta Woods of Laurel, MS, Savannah Woods of Carriere, MS, Amber Long (Justin) of Sumrall, MS, Zachary Sullivan (Lindsay) of Taylorsville, MS, Lora Clifton (Bryan) of Moselle, MS, Kimberly S. Pierce (Travis) of Mize MS, Kody Sullivan (Brandy) of Taylorsville, MS, Kelly Sullivan of Taylorsville, MS, Kylie Sullivan of Taylorville, MS, Karly Sullivan of Taylorsville, MS, and Kayden Sullivan of Taylorsville, MS; a host of thirty great-grandchildren; her sisters, Peggy Diehl (Bill) of Texas, Ellen Methvin of Jackson, MS; and brother, Jerry Windham of Mt Olive, MS.

Pallbearers will be Allen Pearson, Brad Lowery, Blake Lowery, Kody Sullivan, Kayden Sullivan, Travis Pierce

Honorary Pallbearers will be Stephen Wickwire, Zachary Sullivan, Bryan Clifton, Justin Long.

Visitation will be held at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, Taylorsville, MS on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Taylorsville, MS on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.

The burial will be at Fellowship Cemetery, Taylorsville, MS. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville, MS is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564.
