Diana Faye Slay, 82 of Mendenhall, MS passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at her residence in Mendenhall, MS. She was born Wednesday, July 14, 1943 in Mize, Mississippi.

Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll  Slay;  parents, Burl  Sims  and Mavis  Valentine Sims;  brother, Burlon  Sims;  sister, Reita Kent.

Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Slay of Mendenhall; son, Michael Slay (Jana) of Troy, AL; grandchildren, Patrick Slay and Emmeline Slay; sister, June Greene of Pinola; and a host of other family members.
