Mary Joann McCallum Warren
(July 8, 1937 – January 16, 2022)

Mary Joann McCallum Warren, 84 of Magee, Mississippi, gained her heavenly wings on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, July 08, 1937 in Simpson County, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home at 302 8th Ave SW, Magee, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Womack Cemetery in Magee, Mississippi. Reverend Goerge Owens and Reverend Jesse Swilley will officiate. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Megan Swilley.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

Mrs. Warren was a devoted member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Mendenhall, Mississippi.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.  She loved going to church and worshiping the Lord.  She enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, spending time with her animals, shopping, and most of all spending time with her family.  She will be greatly missed by her loving family and church family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, D.W. Warren; son, Timmy Warren; parents, B.F. McCallum and Gladys Tebo McCallum; and sister, Peggy Jane McCallum.

Survivors include her children, Deborah Warren Barrentine (Eddie) of Magee, MS, Jessie Warren (Jackie) of Magee, MS, Penny Warren Ferguson of Magee, MS, Billy Warren (Frances) of Mize, MS, Jimmy Warren (Kay) of Magee, MS, and Patty Warren Hollingworth (Jeff) of Magee, MS;  sixteen grandchildren; thirty-nine great-grandchildren; great grandson, one great-great- grandchild; brother, Harry McCallum (Margie) of Magee, MS; sisters, Betty Joyce McCallum Craft of Magee, MS, Clara McCallum Davis of Magee, MS, Mytrice McCallum Barrentine of Magee, MS, and Sue McCallum Bryant (Jimmy) of Raleigh, MS; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Warren, Abe Warren, Jie Warren, Landon Hollingsworth, Todd Hollingsworth, and Wayne Ferguson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Canoy, Chris Ferguson, Zack Ferguson, John Ferguson, Justin Jordan, Josh Warren, Jadan Warren, and Brock Barrentine.
