Mary Helen McCarty Griffis, wife of Supreme Court candidate Kenny Griffis, came to visit this week!  Sure, Mary Helen came to talk about Kenny and how qualified he is to serve as our Supreme Court Judge…but the meeting was not all about politics!

Mary Helen is a Magee girl!  As she said, she has lived in Madison County for twenty years…but she’s still from Magee.  Her parents are Johnny McCarty and Shelley McCarty…granddaughter of Mac and Mary Ann McCarty…so she “wore” her chicken on her sweater…in honor of her grandparents!

Mary Helen and Kenny are the parents of five boys…can you imagine!  She a great mom, wife, daughter, and person!

Kenny is in his 13th year on the MS Court of Appeals.  He is a Certified Public Accountant…and lawyer.  Kenny has hands on experience in many fields and brings an abundance of knowledge to the Supreme Court.

Take time to listen to our interview….but, I’m just saying…it’s weird…it’s like talking to her mama Shelley!

Wonderful time with a wonderful “girl”…
