Mary Grace Berry, 94 of Mt. Olive, MS passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022. She was born Thursday, August 9, 1928 in Mt. Olive, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at noon with funeral services following at 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery in Mt. Olive, MS. Bro. Trent Sullivan will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031.
Mrs. Berry was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Mt. Olive. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed cooking for her family and working in the garden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; parents, John and Sarah (Ada) Manning; sisters, Minnie Mae (Sook) O’Neal and Johnny Rose (Trixie) Baggett; brothers, Robert Manning and James (Punk) Manning.
Survivors include her three children, Gary Berry (Susan),Becky Taylor (Billy Earle), Billy Berry (Brenda); grandchildren, Gina Arefi, Bryan Taylor (Karen), Joel Berry, Brooke Gordy (Tim), Will Berry (Alice Kate), Brandy Taylor and Molly Berry; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Taylor, Joel Berry, Will Berry, Tim Gordy, Ty Meador, and Tommy Meador.
