Martha Jaynell Mullens, 90, of Mendenhall, Mississippi, died Thursday at Magee General Hospital in Magee, MS. She was born Monday, August 26, 1929.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Mendenhall in MS.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 13, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Everett Baptist Church in Mendenhall, MS. Burial will follow in County Line Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Glen Jennings will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401

Martha was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church. She loved to cook and play checkers. She was known as a kind and sweet person.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Elmo Mullens, parents, John Vernon and Ophelia Petitt, sisters, Beatrice Edwards, Peggy Henderson, brother, Son Pettit.

Survivors include her son, Billy Mullens (Gail), grandchildren, Spencer Mullens (April), Brandy Shepherd, Misty Lowery (B.J.), great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Cody, Caleb, Styles, Dyson, Braddox, Kole, Braylon, Piper, sister, Joyce Nail and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
