Beginning Monday night, September 14th at the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church, a “gathering” of people who are dealing with grief…problems in their lives caused by grief…how to go forward…these topics and more…will be discussed. Tina Robinson is the leader of the group …and I must say almost the heart and soul of this group. Because Tina has walked through so many different types of grief, she brings to this group an understanding heart. The Grief Share group met in the spring and the meeting was very successful for many…and that success has led the committee to again offer this seminar. I don’t really know if seminar is the right word to use…but I can tell you it is a time of sharing and learning. You don’t have to say a word at the meetings…you can just sit and cry…you can just listen and pray…you can just be yourself…no judgement…a time to help healing come about in your life.
The meeting will begin at 6 and should be over by 7:30. The meetings will begin September 14th and continue through every Monday until December 7th.
Grief Share is a Christian based organization. Don’t worry if you miss the first meeting…you can come any Monday…there is no “order” to the meetings.
