Margaret Hughes
(October 20, 1934 – March 25, 2016)
Margaret Hughes, 81, of Magee, passed from this life March 25, 2016 at St. Dominic Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Bro. Mike Ahlberg and Bro. Talmage Maddox will officiate. Burial will be in Sharon Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements, (601)849-5031.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee.
Mrs. Hughes is survived by her Niece, who was like a daughter to her – Denise Stegall (Stacey), Morton, MS, Son – John Haden Hughes (Trish), Jackson, MS, daughter, Pam Medeiros (John), Little Rock, AR; Nephew, who was like a son to her – Roger Collier (Kay), Magee, MS, Grand-Children – John Callender Hughes (Rachel), and Lea Hughes Adams (Ben), and grandchildren that she helped raise, Kelsey Adkins and Jessica Vanderford. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband – Robert Travis Hughes, Father – Nevel Garner, Mother – Alma Garner, Brothers – Buddy Garner, Billy Garner, Gillis Garner, Sisters – Ruby Jernigan, Roma Collier.

Memorials may be made to Sharon Presbyterian Church.
