Margaret Berry Williamson, 73 of Pearl, MS went from her earthly to her heavenly home on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. She was born Friday, January 12, 1951 in Jackson, MS.

A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 10:00am at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt. Olive, MS. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

Margaret worked as an Optometric Assistant in Jackson, MS for 30 years until her retirement. She was big on telling stories to anyone who would listen. She loved animals, especially her cat Gabby. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Eugene Williamson; father, George Earl Berry; mother, Rena Hazard Berry; and brother, George Berry.

She is survived by her son, Robert Terry Hester, Jr. (Lela); daughter, Melissa Renae Williamson; grandchildren, Carter Hester, Mary Ella Hester, Seleah, Shamya and Gavin, Jr.; great grandchild, Malena; two nephews and other family.

Honorary pallbearers will be Carter Hester, Mary Ella Hester, Seleah, Shamya, Gavin Jr., Malena, Chris Berry, and Will Berry.
