Marcus Stewart Allen II of Mendenhall recently served
as a page for the Mississippi Senate. Pages generally run
errands for officials and Senate staff.
Marcus is pictured with
Lt. Governor Delbert Hosemann and Senator Sarita Simmons,
who sponsored his visit.
Marcus is the son of Marcus and
Ka’Wanda Allen and attends Mendenhall High School.
When
asked about the week, Marcus said, “I liked how I got to meet a
lot of people and enjoyed running various errands. Our Senior
Pages this week were awesome and taught us a lot. I appreciate
Senator Simmons for giving me this opportunity, and I wish I
could do it again!”
