Make God the cornerstone of your life. By James Davis

The Scriptural passage chosen for today is taken from Acts 14:17: “He has shown kindness by giving you rain from Heaven and crops in their seasons; He provides you with plenty of food and fill your hearts with joy.” The apostle urged the early Christians to trust the Lord with all they had and to give thanks for His bountiful riches. By making God the cornerstone in their lives, God would, in turn, give grace and the means to help them provide for themselves and their families. We should be aware and keenly mindful of all that God does for us. He won’t grant us all our wishes and desires, but He will provide for our needs. Let us “serve the Lord with gladness and enter His courts with praise,” as the old hymn loudly proclaims. Amen!
