Simpson Academy High School Art Class was well represented in the 2016 Mississippi Association of Independent Schools art competition.
Winners at the district level were:
Maggie Wallace, 1st place Mixed media
Karlea Wallace, 2nd place Watercolor
Molly Shotts, 2nd place Drawing.
As a first place winner, Maggie Wallace’s art advanced to the State Level.
2016 is the 6th year for Simpson Academy to offer high school art. Students are now required to have 1 year of Art, Music, or Drama to graduate.
