Sunday afternoon, July 9th, Lee and Beth Moore hosted a Trunk Showing for Magee’s 2017 Miss Hospitality, Christin (CJ) King. The Moore’s lovely home was filled to compactly with well wishers Often I am asked, “what is a trunk showing?” A trunk showing is a viewing of the clothing that the person will wear to a pageant or event. CJ modeled the clothes she will wear at each Miss Hospitality event.

Kristy Earls Ahmore, former Magee’ s Miss Hospitality and Mississippi’s Miss Hospitality, welcomed guests. Kristy explained that Miss Hospitality is not a beauty pageant but a program for girls to represent their city and or state through positive promotions. “The mission of the Mississippi Miss Hospitality Pageant shall be to identify, honor, and utilize young ladies between the ages of 18 and 24 for the purpose of promoting Mississippi’s tourism, industry, and economic development by serving as Mississippi’s Goodwill Ambassador.” (Miss Mississippi Hospitality website).
