On February 23, 2018 a representative from the Magee Lady Trojans Boosters (Volleyball) came to the Magee Police Department to file an affidavit for embezzlement against one of their members. The Boosters were allowed to sign an affidavit against this member.
This affidavit was signed against Melissa Shows.
On March 3, 2018 the Magee Police Department was able to locate Shows and served the warrant on her. Shows was booked into the Magee City Jail. Bond was set for Shows later that day in the amount of $10,000.00. Shortly after the bond was set, Shows bonded on her charge and was released.
It should be noted and remembered that in all instances, those charged with crimes are presumed INNOCENT until proven GUILTY.
