On Friday, Feb 27, 2015, during the Magee vs. Mize game, #8 Dalton Cockrell was selected as the Varsity Baseball (14-15) Player of the Game.
Dalton came in to pitch in the top of the 4th inning trailing and recorded 6 strikeouts and had a game tying sacrifice fly to pick up the win.
