Josh King and Owen McCool, 11th graders at Magee High, went to Central Louisiana Saturday to help flood victims. They assisted a sweet family and a church that had been impacted by the flood. The family was exhausted mentally and physically when the work crew showed. Their house had more than six feet of water. When the flood waters started coming in the house, a neighbor called to let them know. The father was scared to death because the 11 month old usually sleeps on the floor of his brother’s room but luckily that night the mom had put him in his baby bed. Thank you to young men like Josh and Owen for representing Magee High in a selfless manner.
