Magee baseball improves to 6-1 with wins over Morton 19-4 and Pearl 10-4.
Game one Jordan Magee would get the win on the mound. Magee would score 5 in the 1st inning a triple by Adam May and doubles by Hunter Steele and Kaden Harper. Magee would add 14 runs in the 3rd inning before the game was called due to mercy rule.
In game two, Brennon McNair would get the win on the mound. Magee would score 2 in the first inning with a single by Chandler Pittman followed by a triple by Adam May. Magee would score one in the 3rd, three in the 4th inning and four in the 6th inning. Chandler Pittman led in hitting with 2 singles and a double. Doc McLaurin had 3 RBIs in the game.
Eubanks stated “The guys were focused from batting practice at the field today until we played. We had some really good approaches at the plate and played with a lot more energy.”
Next game is at Magee Tuesday at 5&7 against Lawrence County.
