Magee Shatters the Tornadoes
The Lady Trojan Volleyball Team started off the game with fire as they battled the Piney Woods Lady Tornadoes. With Magee up by five points early in the first set, Piney Woods called a timeout in hopes of slowing down the Trojan’s momentum.  Unsuccessful, the Lady Tornadoes requested another timeout as the Trojans scored 13 additional points. Zykeria Cole, #1, ended the first set with a winning serve. The score was 25-8, with Magee winning by 17 points.

The second set started off similar with Piney Woods calling another timeout when the score reached 11-2 in the Lady Trojans favor. Keeping up their momentum, the Lady Trojans did not cut Piney Woods any slack. As spikes were being pounded into the court, the Tornadoes could not keep up. The Lady Trojans ended the second set with a score of 25-10.

Magee Volleyball Team continued to dominate and finished off the game fast. In the third set, they had victorious serves and spikes. Piney Woods tried another pep talk with their final timeout but were unsuccessful.  With their winning streak, the Lady Trojans concluded the game with a score of 25-9.
