On January 7, 2022 officers with Magee Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for several moving violations. During the course of the traffic stop the driver Todd Anthony Barrett was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Barrett was placed under arrest and transported to Magee Police Department. It was revealed to Magee Police that Barnett was on active Mississippi Department of Corrections Parole. MDOC was also contacted.
