Magee Officer, Joshua Bryant, was involved in an auto accident Tuesday, September 25, 2018 around 7:05 pm on Simpson Hwy 149 in Magee near 9th Avenue.
Filadlfo Cardona Felix was the driver of the second automobile. Felix was traveling southbound toward main street when his vehicle crossed in front the vehicle driven by Officer Bryant and crashed head on. No one was seriously injured in the accident. Flelix was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence, no proof of Insurance, and no driver’s license.
Mississippi Highway Patrol was called to work the accident since the accident occurred in the city limits and involved a city officer.
