The district had 1 maintenance worker who was out on quarantine to test positive. One district staff was quarantined for a positive case in the household.
A total of 4 staff and 15 students tested positive. In order to ensure the safety of the staff and student body, 22 staff members and 212 students were quarantined.
Mendenhall Jr. High was placed on virtual learning due to a number of administrative staff being quarantined. They will return to school February 15, 2021.
Magee Middle School was placed on virtual learning. The school will remain virtual until February 15, 2021.
The nurses at each school continue to work diligently to make sure all protocols and procedures are being followed. We will continue to monitor and keep you updated on our progress.
