Magee High’s Homecoming Court visited the elementary and middle school on Wednesday morning where they read books, sang, and talked with students about school and the future. They shared the following reflections and thoughts about their visit:

  • Maleah McCulloch, said “I had a lot of fun today because it gave me an opportunity to look back when I was in elementary and middle school and it brought back a lot of memories. It was fun talking to the kindergarteners and listening to them sing the alphabet.”
  • Tarkesha Hayes shared these thoughts, “I really enjoyed today. To read a book to the kids was exhilarating. I got a lot of feedback from them and they seemed genuinely excited to see us. We had a day of being treated like a princess or celebrity while giving great advice. So, yeah it was really fun.”
  • Diana Holland had this to say. “The elementary kids were precious and had the best Trojan spirit and attitudes. Middle Schoolers were eager to hear about high school life.”
