Magee High School will celebrate its Homecoming Friday, October 5, on Trojan Field at 7:30pm. during half-time. The Homecoming parade will take place on Thursday, October 4, at 5:00pm on Main Street in Magee. The students selected the theme, “October Fest” and will display their class floats during the parade. A pep rally will immediately follow the parade beside Priority One Bank on Main Street.

Homecoming festivities will begin at 7:30pm on Friday night with the presentation of the Homecoming Court and the crowning of the Queen. The football game begins at 7:00pm. vs Raleigh.

Football Maids are RyShara Floyd , daughter of Rodney and Sharon Floyd, Aaliyah Walker daughter of Gerald Walker and Belinda Davis. Miss Floyd will be escorted by her father, Rodney Floyd Sr. Miss Walker will be escorted by her father, Gerald Walker.

Senior Maids are Cynhamon Lee, daughter of Patrick and Audarshia Flagg and Keary and Tawania Baskin, Quintory Holloway, daughter of Mark Holloway and Lakeshia Catchings. Erika Hawkins, daughter of Cyndi Butler. Miss Lee will be escorted by her father, Keary Baskin. Miss Holloway will be escorted by her father, Mark Holloway. Miss Hawkins will be escorted by her uncle, Michael Shows.

Junior Maids are Macie West, daughter of Amy and Justin Mullins and Christopher West, Ashanti Brown daughter of Beverly McGowan and Trellis Brown. Miss West will be escorted by her father, Christopher West. Miss Brown will be escorted by her father, Trellis Brown.

Sophomore Maids are Keyara Durr, daughter of Sedrick and Keysha Durr, Vyronyca Lee, daughter of Edison Lee and Eboni Lockett. Miss Durr will be escorted by her father, Sedrick Durr. Miss Lee will be escorted by her father, Edison Lee.

Freshmen Maids are Sarah Craft, daughter of Steven and Katy Craft and Zykeria Cole, daughter of Myricks and Jermika Cole. Miss Craft will be escorted by her father, Steven Craft. Miss Cole will be escorted by her father, Myricks Cole.

The name of the Queen will not be revealed until the crowning Friday night. One of the Senior maids will be selected by the student body to be crowned. The 2017 Homecoming Queen, Mia Davis, daughter of Willie and Brittany Davis, will crown the new queen. Magee High School Sophomore Class President, Brennon McNair, son of Fountaine and Josonda McNair will be escorting Miss Davis.
