Students chosen as Future Leaders from Magee High School are as follows: Maleah McCulloch, Cynahmon Lee, Josie Russell, Hannah Newsome, Preston Ivy, and Soumya Middleton.
Simpson County Youth Leadership program has been around for many years. Juniors from Magee, Mendenhall and Simpson are chosen each year from a potential list of candidates.
The students selected will participate in leadership activities, build better development skills, and participate in filed trips and group projects.
Scholarship opportunities are available to those who chose to attend Copiah Lincoln Community College.
