The Magee High School Band aka “The Pride of Simpson County” hit the field Friday, September 7, 2018, sporting a new look for halftime entertainment. The band has new uniforms. The guard dressed as super heroes to the theme of the show. This year’s half time performance is Humans or Heroes and features music from the Justice League sound track.
The football team depends on the band to keep the crowd into the game and spirit high by playing pep songs while drummers keep the rhythm.
The Magee High School Band is under the field direction of Drum Major Maci West who was sporting a Wonder Woman look.
The new uniforms are red and gray and feature the most beautiful red plumes with a touch of silver shine! The Magee High School Band is busy preparing for competition, which is just around the corner.
The Pride of Simpson County is under the direction of Band Director Amanda Sumrall.
