The Magee High School All Superior Band “The Pride of Simpson County”. The band has waited a long time to be able to say those words. Today they rightfully can do so. The band director is Marbeth Gray. The band has worked very hard to make it to this point. The band competed in Pearl, Mississippi this morning to earn all superior ratings in each area. We are very proud and congratulation to each band and everyone who played a part in this success. Anyone who has not had the opportunity to hear the band it’s worth the time to attend a football game and see the halftime show.
