Magee High School Head Football and Athletic Director Zach Jones resigned his position this week bringing the situation of the need for another head coach in just a couple of years.  Jones will be the head coach at Morton High School.

Jones came to Magee from Lumberton High School where he helped guide the team to a 1 A State Championship.  In six seasons, Jones was a three-time South State Champion and won five straight region title with a record of 65-19.

While at Magee, Jones’ record was 8-3. His team advanced to the second round of the play offs before elimination.
