For the next several weeks, the Magee Volunteer Fire Department will be testing fire hydrants in the Magee area.
According to fireman Michael Allan, if the water in your house becomes discolored, run the outside water hydrants to flush the system.
The tests will be performed weather permitting.
The flushing of the lines is a procedure required for insurance rating.
