Magee Trojans Conquer Taylorsville Tarters

There was bloodshed for the Tartars on the Trojan court, Monday, August 27, 2018. Magee Junior Varsity started off losing the first set by four points but would not give up. The Trojans came back with a win in the second set. A coin toss was required for the third set. Captained by Kody Shows and Anna Magee, the Trojans won the coin toss, allowing them to initiate the round with a serve for the Trojans. The third set, only going to 15, ended in Magee’s favor with the final score being 15-11.

The Varsity Lady Trojans were on fire. Captained by Abby Myers, the Lady Trojans vanquished the Tartars in the first set. The second set, however, was a closer call with the Tartars edging out the Trojans with a score of 25-23. However, in the third set, the Lady Trojans had great serve streaks by captain, Abby Myers, #18, and Catelyn Deaver, #00, and it was with some great saves, Magee decimated the Tartars with a final score of 25-9.
