Magee High School Cheerleaders have spent the last few days preparing for football season at cheer camp on the campus of The University of Southern Mississippi.

The Varsity group received superior ribbons in cheer evaluation and camp routine evaluation! The squad placed 3rd Overall Cheer in Large Varsity Division and 4th Overall Camp Routine in Large Varsity Division!

The team won the Spirit stick every night of camp!
Pin it Forward recipient were Sarah Craft, Mylah Davis, Jazmine Milloy, Alyssa Payne, Kayleigh Rials!
The girls chosen for All American were (left to right): Alyssa Payne, Mackenzye Yates, Jazmine Milloy (also Pin it Forward recipient), Sarah Craft, and Tykeria Milton.
Junior Varsity attend camp as well. The ladies placed superior in camp routine and cheer!
The team won the Spirit stick all three nights!
The following were chosen for All American JV: A’kyah Drake, Kalyn Fletcher, and Myrstamia Womack.
The team is under the leadership of cheer coach Lindsey Purdum.

Patrice, wife of Greg Boykin & mother of two sons, Bradley & Alex, is a Magee hometown girl. Patrice is retiring after 25 years in the insurance industry and 23 of those years were with State Farm Insurance in Magee. She is very active in the community serving as Secretary for the Magee Touchdown Club and Vice President of the MS Scholars of Simpson County. Multiple times, Patrice was named Parent of the Year for Magee Schools as well as District Parent of the Year. Patrice & her family are members of New Hope Baptist Church.
