Following hurricane Ida’s visit through Magee, the cemetery suffered minor damage.
Most flowers on or near grave sites were blown away. The City of Magee workers are placing undamaged flowers in a large pile. Because the flowers were scattered everywhere, there was no way to place flowers on stones. Please check on cemetery flowers and replace on graves.
Much thanks to the City workers for immediately checking on our cemetery. We appreciate the attention given to Magee Cemetery.
