Magee Soccer was on the road this week with games at Forest and McLaurin.
Forest game did not fair well for boys or girls.
Girls lost to Forest with a score of 4-0. This was a tough game due to injuries. During the game Jessica Sanford and Emily Wallace would be injured. Jessica suffered a concussion, which will sideline her the rest of her season with soccer. Emily suffered some torn ligaments on both sides of her foot, and now she is sporting a red and gray cast.
The boys would lose to Forest as well with a score of 6-1. Kyle Curlee was the only person for Magee to score a goal.
Thursday night, December 17, 2015 both teams played McLaurin. The girls put up a hard game with younger players stepping up to fill in the spots of the injured seniors. They would fall short with a score of 7-1. Carianne White was the only Lady Trojan to score a goal for the evening.
The boys would come out victorious. Even with a chilly night of play, it would have no affect on Kyle Curlee’s hot foot. He would score both goals to led the boys to a victory with a score of 2-0.
The teams will take a break during the Christmas holidays and will be back on the pitch in January.
