Magee Board of Alderman met for their regular schedule meeting Tuesday, December 19, 2017.

Mayor Dale Berry Advised that a State Flag had been donated by Chris Caughman that had been flown over the Capital.  The city is very grateful for the donation and the flag will be placed at the library.  The mayor, police and city officials are asking for help with the street lights. If you see a light out, please call with the physical address of where the light is located. Some light poles have numbers. If possible, get the pole number this will help even more. Mayor reported that Ferguson Federal Credit Union was ready to begin building and projected date of completion is August 2018. Mayor advised all security cameras are working at the sports complex.  Violators be aware. Security Camera are now in the process of being installed at the airport.

The city is planning an Auction for February 17, 2017 of seized and surplus vehicles and equipment. The board has yet to determine if auction will take place here in the City of Magee or if an outside vendor will be used at a different location. The cost to move vehicles to an out of town auction will determine if a non local location is  feasible  The decision will be determined when bids are opened at the January 2nd meeting.
