Kathy Gibson, Art teacher at Magee High School took the Art Honors and Art Appreciation students to Lauren Rogers Museum of Art Friday, March 4, 2016. The students viewed the Dale Chihuly Venetian Glass exhibit! It was wonderful. Students also toured the permanent collection and saw works by Jacob Lawrence, Elizabeth Catlett and Auguste Rodin. The Lauren Rogers Museum is a secret gem of a place hidden away in Laurel, MS.
