Magee Board of Alderman met Tuesday, October 19, 2022 for their regular scheduled meeting. Several Citizens were present to discussing zoning issues with their community. The board will hear from the group Thursday, October 20, 2022 in a special called meeting and at that time make a decision on the matter.

Magee Crazy Day is Saturday, October 22, 2022 in Magee. Mingle on Main will be Thursday, November 3, 2022 and Magee Christmas Parade is Thursday, December 1, 2022.

Soccer season is under way at the sports complex.

All claims dockets, agenda and minutes were approved.

Phillip Magee requested to attend a Flood Plain Management class. The class is free.

Chief of Police Shane Little requested permission for Becky Freeman to attend a 911 conference at a cost of $1018.88. Candice McGill requested permission to attend a domestic violence class at the Magee PD. Little requested permission for MaKayla Dupree to attend a dispatcher certification class. All request were approved by the board.

With no further business meeting entered executive session to discuss other issues.
