Long time Magee resident, Ruby Jackson, shares her talents with many members of our community. Ruby and I crossed paths years ago and developed a tight friendship! I had no idea Ruby was such a talented lady until about 10 years ago.
I love dolls! Yes, I’ve said it…I do. Because I had three boys growing up in my home, I very seldom treated myself to a doll. But, every Christmas, I would gather my childhood dolls around the Christmas tree. Ruby learned of my love of dolls and gave me one of her beautiful dolls.
Monday, Ruby stopped by for a visit to show me her latest creation…a queen size crocheted bedspread! I was astounded at the complexity of the design of the spread.

Rudy is now making these beautiful crocheted bedspreads for the public. You supply the thread (takes about 18 large rolls) and you decide the color. Ruby charges $130.00 to make the spread.
