Luther Adams, Jr 84, of Braxton, Mississippi, passed away Thursday November 21, 2019 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. He was born Monday, July 29, 1935.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the New Zion Baptist Church in Braxton, Mississippi.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 3:00 PM at New Zion Baptist Church in Braxton, Mississippi. The Burial will follow in New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Carlos Smith will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401.

He was preceded in death by parents, Luther Adams, Sr. and Rene Adams; brother, Charles Ray Adams son, Daryl Adams; great-grandson, Brandon Bennett.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Martha Adams; son, Danny Adams (Margaret); daughter, Donna Vayo; grandchildren, Natasha Ochoa (Hector), Nicholas Harvey, Ashley Freeland (Josh), Anthony Brown, Heather Bennett (Tommy), Andria Heath (S.T.), and Catherine Holifield (Michael); 12 great- grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Bennett, S.T. Heath, Michael Holifield, Tyler Buchanan, Timmy Buchanan, and Randy Nelson.
