Luci Anne Gallagher Jones,77, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023, at Magee General Hospital. She was born September 26, 1945, to Johnny Guy Gallagher and Ruby Alene Johnson Gallagher.
Luci retired after many years from the MS Dept of Corrections. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Lloyd “Bud” Jones (Ashley), Trey Bryant (Melissa), Danny Howell Bryant (Lisa); daughter, Paula Ann Williamson (Glen); sisters, Ruth Kale, Rachael Brooks Kennon (Paul); eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd S. Jones, three brothers, and seven sisters.
The graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Goodwater Cemetery. Bro. Jimmy Peacock will officiate the service with interment following. Pallbearers are Sam Blakeney, Danny Bryant, Trey Bryant, Bud Jones, Jimmy Peacock and Glen Williamson.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
