Monday morning, I “heard” and “saw” for the first time in years the city street sweeper! Yes, we are sweeping streets!
The City of Magee continues working hard to clean up our city. As always, we need your help. The City of Magee Development and Improvement Committee has a project in the works. “Adopt a Street” is a request for our citizens to adopt their street or an area near where they live and keep the street clean.
Plans are to kick off the drive Crazy Day (October 22). If you are willing to join forces with the city in making this project a success, just contact me by phone, text, or email. (601-310-6881)
When we put out the call a few months ago, City Florist immediately volunteered to work their street and area.
We will have an available map for sign up. (Thanks to Phillip Magee!).
