Little, Pingul inducted into Hall of Fame
MENDENHALL – Bre Little of Mize and Donmari Pingul of Mount Olive were recently inducted into Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Hall of Fame, the highest honor that can be given a Co-Lin student. Copiah-Lincoln President Dr. Ronnie Nettles made the announcement during the college’s annual Awards Day program. This was the first year that two students were inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Little served as Phi Theta Kappa Vice President of Leadership, Student Government Association President and a member of the Trailblazers. A President’s List student, she was selected Miss Co-Lin, Sophomore Homecoming Maid, All-Mississippi Academic Second Team and Who’s Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges. Little was the recipient of the Psychology Award her freshman year.
She plans to attend Mississippi College to pursue a degree in psychology. Little is the daughter of Joel and Teri Little of Mize.
Pingul served as President of Phi Theta Kappa, Secretary/Treasurer of the Student Government Association and was a member of the Trailblazers and Phi Beta Lambda. A President’s List students, she was selected to Who’s Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges, All-Mississippi Academic Second Team and Campus Favorite. Pingul was the recipient of the public speaking, English, and American History Awards.
She plans to attend Mississippi State to pursue a degree in medical laboratory technology. Pingul is the daughter of Evelyn Harris of Mount Olive.
She is the Simpson County Center’s eighth Hall of Fame inductee. Other inductees include Emily Booth Collins, Jadan Warren, Laura Toney, Sheila Sullivan, Jerrica Warren Stalans, and Joseph E. Walker, Joey Wester, and Kasey McWilliams.
