Linda Pruitt of Hand’s Nursery is always my go to person with any “yard” question.  She is the Queen of Plants, in my opinion!

Of course, the main topic of my visit was what about grass!  Linda explained that yards need to be watered 4 – 5 hours a day.  If you have a certain area in your yard you want to save, water that area.

Do not mow grass even if you have green grass!  Mowing will take off the green top and expose the burned or dead bottom.

Water your trees!  According to Linda, everything is suffering.  She sometimes waters twice a day!

I was so proud I watered my grass…for about 45 minutes!  I had no idea I needed to soak the area for hours!

Just be ready for high water bills!!!

Check out the video with more do and don’t info!
