(12/11/1947 – 1/16/2024)

Linda Mae Wamble Hair, 76, of Hattiesburg, MS passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024 in Hattiesburg, MS.

Linda started her career as a beautician later becoming a registered nurse at Forrest General Hospital where she worked and retired. She always enjoyed her lunch dates with her retired nurse friends.

She was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her wonderful and loving husband, James Daniel Hair; parents, Thurman & Sarah Kelly Wamble; and two sisters, Jennifer Wamble Beaver and Judy Wamble Hall.

She is survived by her son, Jeffery James Hair; daughter, Cindy Hair-Parker (John); five grandchildren, Casey Favre, Christopher James Hair (Rissa), Kailee Nicole Hair, Ashley Parker, Mason Parker, Jeremiah Parker (Tori), and Jonah Parker (Deanna); and three great-grandchildren, Isaac Favre, Jackson Hoggard, and Mat Parker.

Special music will be performed by Nadine Bedwell.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 113 Front Street, Taylorsville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 2:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Burial will follow in JBD Family Estate Cemetery in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Rev. Jon Hair will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564
