Services for Mrs. Linda Herrin Allan, age 71, of Porterville, MS, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 10, 2017, in the Moselle Chapel of Jones and Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Soule’s Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Allan was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who served the Lord faithfully with her husband as he pastored churches throughout Mississippi. She faithfully served many of those churches as pianist for many years. She was very active in MORA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Landis and Pearl Herrin, and her grandson, Jacob Allan.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Rev. Gil Allan; her son, Phillip (Jean) Allan of Magee; her daughter, Sonya (Ronny) Sumrall of Laurel; her brother, Sam Herrin of Petal; her sister, Joy Brown of Sanford, and her grandchildren, Michael Allan and Jessica Allan.
Visitation for Mrs. Allan will be held at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Moselle from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Thursday.
