(April 4, 1953 – December 1, 2019)
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Linda Faye Keen, 66 of Mize, who passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019, at her home.Bro. Charles Ray Burnham will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Rose Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Mize. Special music will be provided by Mr. David Wigington. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the Billy M. King Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Byrant, Reggie Blackwell, John Amason, David Wigington, Rob Ingram, and Stephen Keen. Honorary pallbearer will be Bentley Bryant.

Mrs. Linda was born April 4, 1953. She was a retired school teacher of the Smith County School District. She taught for over 31 years at Raleigh and was an adjunct teacher at William Carey University for 2 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wes and Lessie Adcock and her two brothers, Kent and Roger Adcock.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin Wesley Keen of Mize, daughters Melissa Bryant (Wayne) of Laurel and Kim Keen of Hattiesburg, son Stephen Keen (Candace) of Mize, and grandchildren Summer Ingram, Alysabeth Bryant, Caleb Bryant, Rob Ingram, and Bentley Bryant.

Linda was strong in her faith and belief in Jesus Christ; therefore, the family request in lieu of flowers or gifts that donations be made to the Gideons at gideons.org/donate, for the furtherance of God’s word into the hearts of those in need in this world.
