Linda Canoy Cooper, 72, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023. She was a lifelong resident of Magee, MS. She was born on September 4, 1951, to the late Deward William Canoy and Mildred Thompson Canoy Ferrell.
Linda could always make you smile and laugh. She will truly be missed by her niece, Christy Welch Roberts; best friend, Beverly Magee; sister, Brenda Canoy Hutto; nephew, Willie Welch and many other friends.
She was preceded in death by the love of the life, Phillip Boone; mother, Mildred Ferrell; father, Deward Canoy; brothers, Ran Canoy, Tony Canoy and grandmother, Onie May Canoy.
The family request that any donations be made to the Mississippi Kidney Foundation, 3304 N State Street, Jackson, MS 39216, kidneyms.org, in memory of Linda Canoy Cooper.
A Celebration of Life for Linda will be held at a later date organized by her niece, Christy Welch Roberts.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee, MS.
