Lina Sue (Shows) Floyd passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018, at the age of 85.
She was born on January 19, 1933, to her parents, the late Justis Olen Shows and Laura Cornelia Edwards Shows.
She was a retired school teacher and homemaker. She loved caring for her family and had many friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by sons, Thomas Ray Floyd (Brenda), Allen Floyd (Jerry); daughters, Lynn McCoy (Lee), Janet Mullins (T.J.); twenty grandchildren, and forty-eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Roy T. Floyd; her brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 23, 2018, at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 24, at New Home Baptist Church with Bro. Ben Rogers and Bro. Trent Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow in Floyd Cemetery.
