It was a time full of excitement, learning, and big smiles as members of the Magee Fire Department spent time with some very special students!

Several firefighters visited with Magee’s First Grade Students of the Month, giving them an up-close look at one of the city’s firetrucks. For these young students, seeing the truck up close—and meeting the heroes who drive it—was nothing short of thrilling.

The firefighters didn’t just stop by—they were invited to join the students for lunch, creating a memorable experience for everyone involved. Sharing a meal together added a personal touch that made each child feel recognized and celebrated.

The fun continued as firefighters took time to show the kindergarten students around the fire truck, explaining its features and answering questions. From flashing lights to important safety equipment, the visit turned into an engaging, hands-on learning opportunity.

Moments like these remind us how special our community is—where our first responders take time to invest in the next generation.

A big thank you to the Magee Fire Department for making the day unforgettable for these young learners!
